I tried putting a basic model in from solidworks that was dxf, it did accept it in but I wasn’t sure how to place it on the block I had created, i’m sure in time I will figure it out 🙂

Hi Jason,
Welcome to the forum.
I hope that you’ll find some help and useful information to run you machine.
I never used Aspan but I think it can read the Polyboard DXF files easily , I know  that you shouldn’t have any problem using Master CAM though.
I have recently bought a Morbidelli Author 504, I have Aspan v6.1 that came with it which once I figure out will be fine for some furniture etc, I have also got a copy of mastercam x9 which I am hoping a friend of mine can write me a converter for me.
Any help in the future is going to be much appreciated, my background is cnc milling so shouldn’t be too hard but work-holding techniques etc is going to be a learning curve.
