Adding screw strips to kitchen cabinets|Forum|WOOD DESIGNER

Hi Brian,
What do you use the screw strips for, are they renforcements or for screwing the back to the wall ?
If you want them as part of the cabinet, the way you have set them up seems to me to be the best.
You can’t automate the set up completely but you can create a methode that sets the correct material for the back, add the surface split to the structures library and set up a sub-method that automatically puts the double back in a groove.
This would mean that to set up your cabinet you would just apply the library structure to the back and then add the double back.
Here’s a quick video to illustrate this:
hope this is helpful,
All the best,

Hi Ness
I am trying to design my own kitchen cabinets. I would like to have 1/4″ back panels with 3/4″ thick screw strips between the back panel and wall. Is there an easier way to add screw strips to the back of kitchen cabinets with out going thru all the steps of splitting the back, then adding a double back for the 1/4″ thick panel.
I am new to polyboard and am still figuring it out.
I have attached what I have come up with so far on a test cabinet. Is there a way to make this back assembly a sub-method or something so I can add it to all cabinets.
Thanks
