Hi Aivis, as well as all other full member benefits detailed here: https://wooddesigner.org/membe…..p-upgrade/

…you are entitled to 1 3D DXF file each month. You cannot save these up though, it’s a maximum of 1 each month. You need to make sure you’re happy with the design before sending it to us for processing. We don’t have the capacity to send you edited versions within the same month if you later decide you want to change your design.

Please note, as I said before, you actually received the output for a StairFile last time, which normally costs £95.

I suggest you buy a StairFile to allow you to work up the stair design with Ness and receive all the manufacturing output you need.

Best, Stefan

Ness last project sent July 19, 2016, not August, not September, any project not received. For what then I pay?

All the best, Aivis

Hi Aivis, the 3D DXF sevice is limited to 1/month. There is no PDF included either I’m afraid. This comes as part of the StairFile service. All the best, Stefan

Hi Aivis, glad the last stair went well. Here is your 3D DXF file for the new project. Please note, we accidentally gave you the all the output that comes with the StairFile service last time. Just to explain the difference this time…

Ness is away for the rest of the week and his time is limited on the forum. We’ll get back to you on the other issues as soon as possible, but please bear with us. All the best, Stefan

Hi Ness,

Thank you for DXF! I have made a full production cycle, but i have occurred some questions.

Or I can change the width of the final stairs step?

Or is it possible for the first two stair steps, to make curved, as it is in picture?

Could I can make turned balusters?

Could I can create box of the division and  floor thickness?

Or you can create a 3D PDF?

Please DXF for my new project.21-1.jpgImage Enlarger

Hi Ness,

Hi Aivis,

Here are the DXF files and workshop documents for your stair project.

Looking briefly through the construction details of you stair, I’ve noticed that you have several parameters I would suggest you change before building this project.

For instance the end of the right string should be moved beyond the first step, the step housings are set to 30mm, I would suggest a maximum of 20mm, the strings and handrails are recessed 30mm into the posts, I would suggest either a mortise and tenon or dowel and bolt or less recess depth, the spindles are assembled with double bevels, for round spindles I would suggest direct vertical drilling……

For a more in depth revision and set up of DXF files before machining of your project please consider using our StairFile service.

Please note that we will refund your StairFile when you buy a full version of StairDesigner.

To buy a StairFile go to this page:

All the best,

Ness
