Hi Sean,

I am currently on holiday and will be back next week. what are your availabilities to have a short session about this?

Also, try to prepare some visuals from your Biesse software in order to evaluate.

regards

Hi Michel

I had a go at that today but no luck .The tenon at the bottom of the stringer is being made two short the thickness is ok . And the one at the top also seems to be short but i didnt let it finish that one. Could you have a look on team viewer at some stage .

Thanks

Hi Sean,

As discussed on the phone please test the clockwise direction on the inner toolings orientation parameter and revert with the results.

Hi michel

I had to change some of the names on the tools to get it to work but it is doing it now. I have also set up the aggragate on it but am still having some issues on the drawing the tenon out line is there but when it goes to biesse works its not and the aggragate cuts the wrong place.

Hi Sean

We did not add any tool on the  (inner) for the step risers and notches. Add the same tool there as on the (outline) and try again

If you still have a problem then try again with  the parameter  “group Step and Riser notches set to NO

Hi Michel

I tried to run a short stringer on the cnc this after noon but no luck the outside cut out seems ok but the pocket for the steps and risers is not happy it gives a warning that the tool size is wrong but i have checked the machine and the name and the sizes seems ok .

Hi Michel

Thank for getting back to me and so for the late reply i was out for a few days.

We got the libraries to work it was the fire wall was stopping it .

As regards the post issue we changed the computer a while back and lost all of the set up so i have just been using dxf for the last few stairs we have built .

So it would be great if you could help use to sort the post out .

thanks again

Sean

Hi Sean,

You probably used older libraries and the new ones only work with the latest version of polyboard so please update your software.

About your CNC output, you had the needed session with our technician to get it aligned properly with your machine. We could have a short zoom session on Tuesday 19. Let me know what time suits you the best to send you an invitation.

regards

Michel
