Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to respond,

but i think i don’t have the same version of batchrun.

I need to look again but I don’t seem to be able to change the export format.

do you think it’s possible to send me your version? with a zip folder of batchrun may be I can use it.

Cheers, Alexandre

(EDIT: please send in as a zip folder via our contact form if this option is possible)

Hi Karl,

Can you give me more information about batchrun,

Tests I have done give me .iso and .bpp,

Did I miss something?

Cheers

Hey!

You have to select export .bpp from the top.

If you need more info then we can set up TW or smth.

Hi,

I would agree with Biesse in that it seems that BiesseWorks is looking for a specific  file extension. Have you tried just changing the file name extension?

A bar code reader just converts the bar code to text so it’s probable that the problem is not the file itself but the type of extension that BiesseWorks is looking for.

Best regards,

Ness

Hi!

You cannot use CIX/CID files directly on the Biesse and PB does not export straight to BPP.

Easy workaround is to use Biesse’s BatchRun application that converts your CID files into BPP (in batches of course). In there you can also specify some additional parameters (origins etc).

Hope this helps!

Hi,

We have a Biesse Skipper V31 machine. We use the Biesseworks CIX post-processor.

For some reason, the Barcode Scanner doesn’t recognize the Barcode.

We currently do a workaround by Saving the CIX file for each part as BPP in the machine, the Bar code scanner can recognize this format.

Has someone else faced this problem before? Is it possible to create a BPP file directly, how do we go about it?

The Biesse hotline team feels that its because the barcode of the CIX file doesn’t have the file extension, which is the reason the scanner is unable to recognize and load the program. Not sure how much that is correct.

Regards

Shafeek
