Ness:

I have loaded Poly 6 demo to another PC.  Working file attached.

Have been trying to add the uprights and divides similar to you model with no success.

What do I need to do next.

Regards, Jack

Hi Jack, you would need to install the free version on another PC. Best regards, Stefan

Solution looked great.  However, I tried several times to load Poly 6 free but keep getting Lite.

I cannot find "structures" menu or "Assembly" anywhere in the menu.

Sorry for being an idiot.

Hi  Jack,

The best way to make you drawer sliders would be to use an assembled structure :

This feature is not available in Polyboard Lite but you can install a free version and post your file to the forum and we'll send you the working drawing.

To use this feature just select a shelf and using the "structures" menu choose "Assembly" and adjust the frame structure of the shelf.

You can place uprights and add an "assembled structure to them too":

This has some limitations in that you can't assemble the uprights to the shelves and top with the mini tenon as in your drawings, so I would just use a dowel assembly here. Otherwise all the part should be written correctly into the cutting lists.

All the best,

Ness

Hi Jack,

Our team wishes all the best for the New Year, with lots of great wood working projects to do !

For you question, Polyboard Lite can't manage drawer runners as these are considered hardware.

In general if making a project by hand, you can manually drill the holes for the runners using jig.

However, to advise you further can you post a drawing or a Polyboard file showing what you are trying to do exactly?

All the best,

Ness

Greetings Ness:

Hope your holidays were merry.

I am designing a chest-of-drawers and want to use drawer stretchers, runners, drawer guides and dividers.  Not sure how to approach this in polyboard. Please point me in the right direction.

Regards, Jack
