Hi Dam,

The problem is that cabinets will only snap to the outer limits of each other and the door thickness is included.

To put you cabinets together, the easiest way is to simply use the "Move cabinet" command.

Select the cabinet and right click and in the menu select "Move Selection" :

It's possible to fill the gap by making the top panel stick outside the global volume with an extended groove.

For this groove the second cabinet top into the side and make the groove depth equal to the thickness of the side + the thickness of the door.

Now when the cabinet is snapped to the other the extra material of the top will fill the gap.

Hope this is helpful.

Best regards,

Ness

Hi Ness,

I am creating a L shape kitchen cabinet from modules. I made all modules straight. So that when i make the project, i tried to snap the right module to the corner to make L shape, it cannot fit. There will be a gap between the 2 modules. This gap width = the door thickness of the left module. Is there any method to make them zero gap other than making a L shape corner module?

Thank you very much.L-shape-cabinet.JPGImage Enlarger
