Tom,
See the attached cabinet. You can restore the fittings and see what I have done.
Please confirm all drillings suit your needs. I believe that they are correct, but the technical data isn’t very clear in all areas. Just confirm you are happy with the fitting.
Regards,
Isaac

Hi Isaac,
Thanks for this, I really appreciate your style of painting a picture vs being direct and being clear.
Yes, I suppose we need to be specific to extract the most value. With that said, I just found a Hafele product that is better than the link I sent you, that also has the technical drawings: Hinged Shoe Rack – Hafele
A shame we can’t hinge the drawer in the software, but if we can build it with the correct drill holes etc, I don’t suppose it matters. I’ve measured a space in my house a product like this could fit, so lets use these dimensions: Total dims of 370mm (deep) x 910mm (wide) x 1,750 (high). These dims include a 40mm filler on the left and an end panel on the right. Using 18mm thick Finsa MDF boards.
Cheers,
Tom

Hello Isaac,
I’m trying to build hinged shoe cabinet system for a client that rotates 45 degrees towards you, and you just drop the toe into the slot.
Please follow this link (I hope it works):
Manual Link: tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=697873309343&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9861666902820291972&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9191447&hvtargid=pla-2308768756790&psc=1&gad_source=1
It appears to be x2 plates either side, with a few planks across to connect them. This would allow the user to drop the shoes toe, straight down.
Please do let me know your thoughts on how this could be constructed.
Cheers,
Tom
