I WAS ABLE TO MAKE A WOOD FRAME DOOR IN POLYBOARD 5 WITH A TEST CABINET.  When I open in poly 6 light I can still work with the test cabinet but still cannot perform the function on my project cabinet.  current pantry design file already has doors that cover 2 shelf openings but cannot change the door to framed using bars…….still no assembly/structure menu.  tried to remove the door and shelf and still no assembly menu??

Ness or Stefan:

I have re-watched most of the videos in an attempt to add framed doors.  However, when going to cabinet edit/properties/door/ I do not get any option for structure or assembly detail. I finally reloaded Polyboard after trying to reload polyboard-en. Polyboard keeps telling me “can’t find”/”may not have permission”/…….current quick design polyboard-en structure gives me NO STRUCTURE OPTION.  However, I can add a door panel from the texture menus.

I hate to be a pest, but I am baffled.

Regards,

Jack

Thanks for the input.  I can always glue the sides to get my desired widths. I would like to know how to add the constructed framed doors.  I do not see any options in the door selection menu.  I reviewed the video on framed doors but they appear to be routed/sculptured versus true frame and board doors?  The 1-2-1 option cost is not a good option for.  please direct me to the appropriate tutorial for designing a frame and board door.

thanks, jack

Hi Jack,

You’ll probably need to use the face frame methods and have some guidance.

We can do a mini-Team Viewer session to show you quickly how to start your set up, but you might find it more useful to have some a real training session with video recording of the session.

Training sessions are available from the 1-2-1 Training page here:

https://wooddesigner.org/train…..g-service/

Tell me when you would like to meet up and we can set up a Team Viewer meeting.

All the best,

Ness

Hi Ness:

Finally resolved upload problem with Stefan’s help.

I have posted the finished cabinet we designed and a picture of the pantry cabinet I want to design and build.

I reviewed the tutorials you recommended and am still at a loss.  I am trying to build the carcass sides with 2″ corner posts that I can groove and insert 3/4″ panels into.  Since it will contain heavy items, I need the strength.

As always, I look forward to you guidance.

Regards,

Jack

Hi Jack, here are your photos. File size was fine, but they were too big in terms of dimensions. The max is 1000 pixels width or height. Your cabinet looks great by the way, nice job. All the best, Stefan

Hi Jack, can you check this video for uploading pictures: https://vimeopro.com/wooddesig…..rum-basics

Are you using the ‘upload attachments’ button then ‘add file’ and ‘start upload’?

Still having problems, please send me the image using the contact form and I’ll have a go. Thanks, Stefan
