Hi Frank,
I’ve back at my computer trying to catch up on emails and forum post this week so you can send in your projects when you want.
If you tell me you in a hurry and there are no revisions, I can usually send you the plans back within 24 hours.
Hope to be seeing some of your projects soon.
All the best,
Ness

That’s good news on the project getting accepted, and really glad Polyboard is going to be able to speed things up for you. Looking forward to seeing the finished shelves in situ…
Hi Christopher, hi Stefan,
Thank you both for your answers. Ok, I will plan that one or two days in. I just have to reorganize my quote making a bit in order to fit in those days.
Thanks for the tip on the screenshot. It will be useful to attach the screen shots to my quotes and get the drawing only for those that are accepted.
By the way, to my surprise the below project have been accepted. Actually it is being built right now (not now as I am at home but during daytime). I’m going to finish it tomorrow and will post some photos of the final product here.
Without the output of Polyboard I have worked more than an hour on the final detailed plan. First I have done it in Polyboard but then I did my cut list the conventional way as I used to without Polyboard, which otherwise could have been done by a few mouse clicks on Polyboard. I am very excited to get it.
Best wishes,
Frank

Hi Frank, you can grab a screen shot with the free version using something like Jing which is free to download.
We will sometimes get the documentation to you on the day, but depending on workload there is no guarantee on that. Sometimes it may be a few days. Sorry not to be more precise.
Hi Frank,
Ness is off to a conference of some kind and he may take a couple/few days to get back to you on this, but based on my limited experience, Ness is usually very quick in getting the build plans/cut lists back to you when you request them. Of course, he has a professional/personal life to live and he is not here 24/7.
Now, if your “shortest time possible” allows for a day or two (max), then you’re golden with this service until such time as you can afford to purchase your own license of the software.
Christopher
Hi Ness,
Yes, indeed. I kind of had a glimpse on how I could increase my productivity with Poliboard and I liked it. For my next few projects more likeliy than not, I will use your CabinetFile Lite service until I will put enough money aside to buy one of the Polyboard versions.
This may not be the right question in this topic but I will ask any way
If I use the CabinetFile Lite service, what is the usual turn around time? It is mainly interesting because I usually do the design works and my quotations during the evenings/nights and obviously I will need to send one or more screenshots already with the quotation and upon acceptance I will need the cut list usually within the shortest time possible. I know, nothing can replace the comfort of having my own full version of Polyboard but I have to budget it in first.
Many thanks,
Frank

Hi Frank,
This is great stuff!
You’re quickly becoming a master of Polyboard!
All the best,
Ness
Hi all,
Last night I was playing around with PolyBoard. I had the idea of trying it out on a real scenario. Due to the likelihood of this project ever getting accepted by my client being very low I did not want to spend a long time (especially for being a novice at PolyBoard) on fine details and came up with simple solutions. I have been able to make my first pair of alcove shelving units in less than 15 minutes. Building the walls all around it took longer though and I have also included some visual representations for the coving, the skirting and the ceiling.
The wall with the skirting, coving and fireplace took me over an hour for having to watch a few tutorial videos of Ness in the mean time. The uprights along the shelves in the units are placed in an asymmetrical fashion randomly but having symmetry between the two sides. Side panels are intentionally left thick and going from wall to wall for quick representation of the units. The alcove recesses are not regular, they different sizes are correctly represented in the wall set up.
I thought I would share a screenshot for your viewing pleasure.
Frank
