Ok, I was over optimistic. It installed without errors but polyboard must have the path set elsewhere (in the reg file?) and so it does not actually load icons properly on startup.
Help?

I tried to run the InstallQuickDesign-lite-en.bat but it failed with the message that it cannot find the files specified in the bat file (Regedit “helpfully” suggests “There may be a disk or file system error”!)
They are where they are supposed to be on the desktop. However because I have a limited size SSD for my C drive I had changed the USERPROFILE to point to a folder in my D drive. This is a standard procedure and works transparently most of the time, e.g., in explorer.
However it does not work, it turns out, in command prompt and hence bat files. My solution was to edit the bat file to hardwire the actual new folder. It worked but there may be more elegant solutions.
