Hi Leonard,
Sorry but I don’t really understand your construction.
If I get the gist your project is made of a couple of solid wood frames with shelving between. If this is correct it should be OK to design with Polyboard.
However please send at least a sketch so that I can understand correctly what you have in mind.
All the best,
Ness

I don’t have a file. The unit would be 7 feet high, 8 feet long, 2 feet deep. The frame would be made of 2″ x 4″ and the 3 shelves would be equal distant apart. The 1/2″ plywood would be attached to the 2 x 4 shelf frame. Each shelf would be 2 feet deep and 8′ long and the height of each shelf would be 4″ (the 3.5″(height of 2×4) + 1/2″ (plywood)). The 4 uprights to support the shelves would be 2 x 4 x 7′ high. Will the description help.

Hi Leonard,
I can’t see your units, have you forgot to attach a file?
To attach a file click the Upload Attachments button below, drag and drop the file into the window and then click the “start upload” button.
All the best,
Ness
