Hi Philip, welcome to Wood Designer and the forum!

We can definitely help you with Polyboard but also support you as you set up your business. We’ve got people integrating Polyboard with VCarve and your other software too so we can help you there as well.

From our experience of working with other start up businesses, setting up a workflow with Polyboard through to CNC (whether done by yourself or outsourced) right from the beginning gives you a very efficient way of working.

Once you get the hang of Polyboard, and eventually create your own libraries that mirror your way of working, you’ll be able to turn round design projects incredibly fast…and get the parts cut and machined in a way that makes assembly very quick too.

I’ve created a new forum thread to answer your first set of queries here:

It would be great to follow your progress as you go. Please share on the forum how things develop, and let us know how we can help you as you go.

All the best, Stefan

Hi Ness,

My name is Philip Tancredi I live in the US and just purchased a 4′ x 8′ CNC Router.

Now it’s time to learn!!!

I have Mach3, Vcarve and aspire.

I now want to start a cabinet manufacturing company.

I hope with the videos your help and the software I can accomplish that.

I have been doing woodworking on and off since 1974 when at 12 I bought a Shopsmith.

I have been watching the videos and they are a lot of help!!!

I have two questions:

I have a box I want turn into a base cabinet for a kitchen with no hardware.
I installed my grooves and also install my toe kick.
What video do I watch to show me how to replace the top panel
and back panel with two smaller panels.
How do I add panels and change the dimension of a panel?
I open a base box and remove all hardware. How do I raise the bottom panel up to meet the toe kick?
What video do I watch to do this?
Thank you,
Philip
