Thanks for posting your intro on the forum.
We would be happy to help you in your project.
To make it easier to follow your project can you start a new thread in the stair building section here:
You could start by posting any drawings and telling us what has already been done.
In general to start you’ll need detailed drawings of each part and a cutting list.
Where are you with the build?
I see you have the rough timber, do you need to know the next steps or do you have specific questions?
Looking forwards to hearing from you on the forum.
All the best,

Hi all Les Graves here, i live in the Limoges region of France with my French wife, i have lived here for 14 years. I am new here and hope i can get some help, a friend of mine died recently of a terrible accident whilst working on the repair of a water mill, he was a carpenter and cabinet maker, i used to help him with his project’s, he had started on a new kitchen for a client, this was only the frame work made from cheery, with help from some friends from our local village i managed to complete and delivered to a happy client. the problem i have now is my friend had taken an order to manufacture a stair case, he had stated to run down the oak but never got to the point of me knowing what is what, i have now learned how to operate all the machinery within the last few months but i would really like to build the the stair case, have all his plans for this but not sour where to start.
