Hi Grover,

The barcode printed to the cutting maps is the Altendorf .saw pp file. this is specific to Altendorf saws as they are actually designed to be used with the printed cutting maps.

There us no way to get the pp file name printed to labels.

The best way to work is to print the cutting maps as paper and place the print out next to machine for the operator to scan. Otherwise you can maybe use a PDF print out or print the cutting map to sticky back paper to stick to the panels.

We are actually talking with Altendorf to see if we can improve on this.

Sorry we can’t help more .

Best regards,

Ness

Hello Ness,

I don’t have any idea but this is actually helpful.

This is the normal printout after optimization.

This is when I used Altendorf 2 PP to produce SAW file and then print preview.

Hi Grover,

Can you tell me what that code is and how you added it to the print out?

Best regards,

Ness

Hi Grover,

If you go to “Labels setup”, then click “Separators”, you can drag and drop the “Cutting Maps” field to the “Fields to be printed” list.

Then click “Options” and tick “Print as Barcode”.

The sheet material labels will then include the barcode:
