Hi Scott,

There is no link with OptiNest to avoid such collisions. Depending on the used tool you might be able to shorten the cap extension in the hardware library.  It has to be taken into account based on the used cutter diameter to machine the hardware and the one cutting the boards.

This fitting in our libraries overlaps so that you can square the corners on the end of the fitting. You can adjust this, depending on the size of the tooling you are using.
