Hi,

the *.nc format means that it would then be directly from the G-Code file,

This is not currently possible, as OptiNest only imports/exports DXF, and therefore requires CAD/CAM software such as VCarve to generate the Gcode.

For the time being, DXF is the major format used by CNCs, but this implies knowing the layer coding constraints, which must then be done directly in PolyBoard’s Post-Processor configuration,

We can help you with this, as long as you have DXF files that can be imported into the machine and the documentation.

Cheers, Alex

Hello,

I would like to know how can directly export from Optinest a file with  “.nc” extension, so i can directly work on it on a CNC nesting machine.

Thank you
