Nice, i didnt know about this.

In my first attept tho’ , this is not showing how many pannels i need, also it doesnt allow me to introduce the leftovers i have from a certain material i am using.

What would be the most efficient workflow in our case ?

So we use as machines IMA SCHELING FH4 for pannel saw CNC, that uses HPO software for optimising itself. Aparently OptiCut doenst have a post processor for it, so i need a way to send in one file the plates and the pieces that will be cut out of each plate ? I know that we must create once in the IMA Scheling a shablon in which we tell it what each columb of our .CSV or .XLSX means and from there on it will interprete it. I also know that the optimising will be done by the HPO itself.

So how do i make use of the OptiCut in this case ? I had a call with your collegues in which i explained the machines we use and i had been recommanded to buy both OptiCut and Polyboard. Now is OptiCut not needed ? Can we only export the cutting list and have to chose the materials stock and sizes in the HPO software of IMA Scheling ?

What’s the best workflow here, please let me know since i am a bit lost in the process.

Thank you!

Hi Ramin,

If your goal is to export a CSV file, this can be done directly from PolyBoard.

Go to the Cutting List menu, then Cutting List Options. All of the fields can be easily reorganized to suit the CSV format required by your saw.

All the best, Alex.

Hello,

So we are getting reallty close to finally produce using Polyboard – OptiCut to and IMA SCHELING FH4 pannel saw CNC – HOMAG pod and Rail CNC.

The question i have , the IMA SCHELING FH4 uses HPO, it can only read .CSV and .XLSX.

I do not understand how to export my cutlist with all the data, the main pannels, the cuts, edgebands, all of it as a .CSV or .XLSX.

Once i have them all exported on a file i need to configure through the FlexibleImport in the HPO itself so it understand what each columb is.

Unfortunetly the OptiCut Scheling export is a .PRV which this machine cant read, so can u please help me Export to a .CSV or .XLSX that will have all the data ?

Thank you !
