Hi Scott,

No, there is currently no setting that will define which way a part needs to be assembled, or which goes toward the cabinet top.

The only work around I have come across for the moment that will highlight the top is by creating an edge tape that is 0mm thick. You could label this edge tape “top” and then the top of your backs will be highlighted. (this is only an option if you usually don’t edge the top of your back pieces in PolyBoard).

I have attached an image of this below, tested in OptiNest. NOTE: I have not changed the name of my edge tape for this test, I only used an edge tape called “Edge-040,0.0mm”.

is it possible to add which way the part should be assembled

 

for example a back panel that isn’t left or right, we would like to add something to the label which shows which is the top or bottom
