Hi Ain,

Good to hear it all works well.

Can’t see the pictures, have you forgotten to upload?

All the best,

Ness

PS:note that if you cut using a CNC router Optinest will give a better sheet yield.

Hi Ain,

Sorry I didn’t see that you had a grain direction on materials.

I attach the same cutting list optimised with grain.

If you buy Opticoupe Pro PP from the members area it costs £1678 instead of the £1865.

StairDesigner is at £895 instead of £995.

All the best,

Ness

Hi Ness!

Thanks, now my cnc cuts last sheet with yours Opticut files.

Machine works well and all pieces cuts without defects. Look pictures!

I buy Opticut soon!

Best whishes! Ain

Hi Peter,

You can load separate cabinets that are on disk to the catalog but if you load a project you’ll load all the cabinets in the project.

Cabinets that are loaded into the project but are not placed in the project are listed with a “0”‘ quantity.

All the columns can be edited, for instance you can change the names, quantity, sizes and even the manufacturing method and the price is updated and the manufacturing documents will also get update.

Right clicking an entry enables you to add other cabinets, delete the entry or duplicate it.

Duplicating is useful when you want to change a characteristic of an entry, for instance create a cabinet  with a different size or manufacturing method.

All the best,

Ness

Hi Ness

Just watched your video on using Catalog,s, very interesting.

Can you extract various cabinets from a project into a catalog ?

If you have a project that is complex and programmed over an extended period, you may need to supply components in a staged program to suit site works

Cheers

Peter

Hi Ain,

I attach the Opticut output for the projects you sent to me.

I’ve tried to set up the DXf files to the specs you sent but you should check before using to cut.

Aspire should be able to apply automatically a tool path to the centre lines on the “cutting line” layer.

I’ve also made this short video to show you how to get grouped manufacturing documents for several projects using the Catalog mode.

https://vimeo.com/wooddesigner…..a9704055e5

Note that you can use the Catalog mode to groupe projects or individual cabinets for manufacturing.

Hope this is helpful.

All the best,

Ness

Hi Ness!

I cant see dxf files, where they are?

Best whishes!

Ain

Hello Ness!

Thanks for all, one little mistake is with directions. In polyboard we have one color (like without grain) really material with grain.

Please make files without rotation of parts, hope you understand my probleem.

All outputs is great!

If I take full member , what is my discount price Opticut?

In future we need Stair Designer to !

Hi Ain,

Sorry, I must have forgot to attach them!

Here they are again….

The DXf’s are in the “cutting maps” folder.

For info, I’ve also added the labels and the printed cutting maps with named parts and numbered parts.

All the best,

Ness

Hi Ain,

I’m happy to see Polyboard works well for you.

Sorry to say but we don’t have a time limited version of Opticut .

You can send me a Polyboard project and your saw type and  I’ll optimise it for you to test.

All the best,

Ness

Hi Ness!

Ok. I send Polyboard Project.

Best regards!
