Hi Isaac,

Seems a bit crazy this to be honest. I would imagine the whole point of the software is stock managment, but it is no managing stock correctly.

ALL boards bought from a supplier require a trim. Thats a given as they swell with moisture.

ALL offcuts wouldnt be trimmed. What would be the point if this is not yet being used?

Surely this is a basic function. How would you optimise an offcut seperately? Surely the entire idea of an offcut is that it is an offcut of your material?

Very confused. I, like most need the software to trim the parts, NOT the panel.

Regards

Dean

Dean,

Panel trim cuts, as seen in the attached image, are set for the optimisation of all panels.

If you want this removed for your off-cut material, you would need to nest these separately and set the panel trim value to 0mm.

This cannot be changed between different panels in a singular optimisation.

Isaac

Hi folks,

I cut my parts out of a large sheet, and optinext can return the offuts to stock, however the dimensions it returns are wrong to the panel.

I have found this is because it is assuming that the edges are trimmed. I have set trim to 10mm to make sure the parts do not optimise on an edge.

I would lik my offcuts to be the size that is being returned. Can you help?

Regards

Dean
