OfflineDean,
This should not impact your label rotation to the component.
Your labels will not always rotate when printed to be the same orientation as the nested component. This needs to be completed manually, and the supplied arrow will allow you to rotate the label realistically to align with the nested component. The arrow reference is used to ensure that the label is fixed on the part correctly. The edging position shown on the label will then match the part edge that requires that edging.

OfflineHi Dean,
Yes, a reversal flip will allow you to flip a components face.
A 180 degree rotation means that the grain will be able to rotate up to 180 degrees. Therefore, in nesting it can either stay the same as it was imported, or be rotated to the other side. With these rectangular components it wont change much, but will work better for more complex shapes.

OfflineI see…
Reversal meaning flip (face 2 or face 1)?
Also, Rotation means CAN it rotate not will it rotate.. Meaning it may also stay as it is?
So Im guessing if I am trying to change a grain direction I would almost always use this one.
Also, why does Polyboard by default set the rotation on all to 180 degrees? Surely that is the same as 0 degrees? Does this have anything to do with sticker orientation as I have noticed my back panels ALWAYS have the sticker on upside down.

OfflineHello Dean,
Using OptiNest, pieces will first export as per your PP options in PolyBoard.
In OptiNest:
– Rotation: rotation options are allowed during nesting
– Reversal: whether the part can be reversed during nesting
– Grain: you can manually set each components grain direction angle for nesting.
