Hi,

I understand, and will ask the developers to add a warning message with the unplaced part numbers.

Best,

Ness

I see that is another place to check but it feels like missing pieces should be made more obvious. We have missed noticing it a few times cut the project and only when assembling realised that some pieces are missing. It is very easy to miss that not all pieces have been placed in the pop up window.

Hi,

If you print or do a print preview you can look down the parts list and see which parts haven’t been placed.

Hope this is helpful,

When nesting a project, we have had it a few times where a piece is either too large to fit onto a sheet, or has the grain running in the wrong direction. For example below this shows up as 1/127 pieces unplaced.

There is a tab of the placed pieces that we then need to click through to find the piece that has been unplaced. So in the example below I needed to click through 83 pieces to find the piece that showed as 0/1 pieces placed.

This would be much better if there was also another tab that showed unplaced pieces, or a warning popped up to show that not all of the pieces were placed and highlighted the units that are missing from the nest. It is currently a very easy issue to miss.

Or is there a different way we should be using the software so it highlights any of the pieces that have not been included in the nest?

Cheers
