Hi,

Can you upload the latest version of your project to make a new analysis,

You may consider a 4-hour support package to help you complete your project with Zoom sessions,

This will allow you to clear up any issues that may be blocking you in implementing this and future projects.

Cheers, Alex

Hi – sorry been away for a while but i’m keen to finish my designs. I am still struggling to add the hinges. I have tried to go through the process described on the video help on Blum hinged but nothing seems to happen. Is it possible to have some 1-2-1 hep to complete the process?

Hi,

Yes, we have all current Blum Drawers in our libraries

If you want full laminate drawers you can use Tandem / Movento

and if you are not in mixed Metal/Laminate, you can choose the Legrabox

(and in view of your project, I think you can even provide Legrabox C-height drawers of about 170mm height everywhere)

Cheers, Alex

Hi Sam,

We need to get the technical data drawing for the drawer type you are going to use, as the drilling positions for the sliders need to be defined as well as the box that goes along with it.

The used material thickness gets defined in the material style submethod in polyboard. That is according to the recommendation of the manufacturer.

there are drawer systems with metallic sides that only requires a bottom and a back and also systems with a full box that requires all box parts.

it is essential to have this information so that Polyboard will output a correct cuttinglist for all parts.

regards

Michel

Hi,

Sorry, but in order for PolyBoard to give you the correct cutting list, we need to know the drawer models you want to use.

Hi Alex, thanks for your reply. I have asked the manufacturer and they are happy to spec the drawers and the drawer system… so therefore is it as simple as getting the cutting list to them?

Also re the design of the cabinets, you mentioned different thickness for the drawer base and back. Is this jus specified by the software automatically?

thanks

Hi,

Cabinet files service do not include a control from us,

I can just inform for example the drawers you use in “Che Wardrobe” do not correspond to Legrabox M drawers defined by the fixing link

(like all drawers on your project)

For help you please advice which drawers model you want to use

And standard drawers using laminate for the back and bottom, with 16 mm material, and for metal side, Nil panels

And standard drawers using only laminate, with 16 mm material for the whole part, and 8 mm for the bottom of the drawers.

Thanks for your reply Alex. I think i would like to start by seeing if my designs work within the cutting list. I have uploaded the cabinet for a room/project. is it possible to have these checked and then made into a cutting list?

Many thanks

Hi,

I am delighted to be able to exchange with you!

Like your project attached, you have 2 levels,

-Project mode, to assemble the cabinets made in the project or import them after making them in cabinet mode.

-Cabinet mode, to create or edit your cabinet

Each cabinet, as you can see, uses a manufacturing method, which includes ten families of sub-methods that each has their own function.

For example, Sub-Method Materials, which defines the default panels used in the cabinet, per panels,

Alternatively, by uploading them here from the free version, we can provide them in return.

We, of course, use generic materials to obtain a simplified cut list, which you will get via an active version from the Cutting list menu,

Alternatively, by uploading them here from the free version, we can provide them in return. (like attached files for your project)

But you can replace all the materials you have created before in the menu Libraries > Panel Materials,

using the Modify Style command, short video below 😉

Cheers, Alex
