I’ve heard it might be using Windows 10 in conjunction with the new MS Edge browser.

Are you using Edge? I would definitely try a different browser such as Firefox or Chrome.

I’ve tested with IE and it’s working for me. Can you check you’ve got the latest version and update if not. Trying another browser like Chrome would be worth a go too. Let me know if that works if you don’t mind.

I’ll talk to our forum developers in the meantime and see if they can help.

In the meantime, can you attach the files to a message on the contact page. I’ll add them for you.

Cheers,

Stefan

Hi Harley,

I see you’ve managed to do this earlier in the thread, so perhaps it is something to do with Windows 10 or an update of your browser perhaps? It’s working for me and others still. What browser are you using?

You might have already tried this, but instead of drag/dropping, can you upload by clicking the ‘add files’ button. There’s a link in my signature to a quick video that shows how to do it this way.

Cheers,

hi ness,

I have built my first drawer and it come out very good, made super easy with the drawings. I tried to attach a pic of it but I cant seem to add attachments, I’m not sure why, maybe the new windows 10 has something to do with it, I try dragging and dropping but it wont let me drop it, can you help me with this problem ?? I also want to build another drawer but have the same problem trying to attach the polyboard design I have done ??

Hi Ness

Thanks for that, I didn’t realise I had edging on it must of been from when I was learning to use software and missed it when I was doing my final checks. looks good apart from that and thanks for the advice, will keep updates as I go. I have uploaded design with edging taken out if its not to much trouble to update cutting list for me would be much appreciated

Thanks

Regards Harley

Hi Harley,

Here are your working documents.

Note that I haven’t checked the fine details of your project so please cross check before starting to cut your panels.

For instance, I noticed when exporting labels that only some of the panels have edging set up.

Also, I haven’t checked the exact position of drawer slider drillings, but if you are building by hand I suggest that you install sliders by presenting them and drilling/screwing pilot holes through the slider holes.

In the same way I would drill the assembly screw holes by eye and only use the plan positions to know what panels need drilling.

You probably don’t need it for this project but, if you need a complete and detailed revision of other projects, please use the CabinetFile Pro service.

Have fun building, and keep us updated !

All the best,

Ness
