Hi,

I understand the confusion here, but the opposite is actually true.
It’s a bug (a problem) in PolyBoard 7 that was fixed in PolyBoard 8.
So it wouldn’t make sense to put a bug back in.
I made a video to show you the problem that was fixed.

Hope this helpful, Alex

Hi Alex,

Sorry I do not understand what you are trying to say, I’m saying this tooling acts differently in pb8 as in pb7. The picture in pb8 tooling screen does not look the same as in the 3D design but in pb7 it did. The 3D Accessory is referenced to be placed on the overpassing panel 50mm from the edge of the overpassing panel not the under passing panel. It worked fine in pb7.

As far as I’ve been working on PB for the past few years, a positive dimension (50mm) the Tooling is placed on the referenced panel and a negative value will place it off the panel

Ho!

I got it this is not an issue here! or issur in PB7 resolved in PB8
I don’t see at first you used fixed shelf as bottom!
If you look your screenshoot, you see part in opposite direction

If you moved Shelf you can see all is OK,

All the best, Alex

Hi Alex,

I have also made a new cabinet in pb8 and the problem is still there

Please refer to my cabinet. I’ve made a shelve as a bottom panel for the wall units, so I did not use a bottom (boxful) panel. If I use a boxful bottom panel it works fine.

Hi,

Here again I well understand!

But when I restored fitting and applied it in fresh cabinet in PB8 that’s work well.
This is why we need original PB7 cabinet not already saved in PB 8 to find which going wrong during “import”.

Cheers, Alex

Yes, I understand but may be you still have old project, create into PolyBoard 7, but not yet update/save into PolyBoard 8.

Hi,

Sorry if my request is not clear, did you have hold cabinet no yet saved in PB 8?
Probably something going wrong in 7 and resolved in PB 8.
If I used fitting in new cabinet all working well.
