Hi Lisa, it sounds like you haven’t selected an inner volume yet. Once you’ve done this, you’ll be able to add design elements like shelves, doors, drawers etc. On the Getting Started page I linked to there are some good videos to help you get going. Please watch all of them if you can, but definitely the one called ‘My First Design’. This shows how to get a basic design done and should help a lot. Thanks

Hi Stephan

Ok regarding the activation code, thank you. However, the problem is when I double click on a cabinet it brings up the cabinet tool bar but it is all grey (unusable) so I can’t edit the cabinets.

Thank you

Hi Lisa, I’ve moved your post to the Polyboard forum rather than General Enquiries. Thanks for signing up for Premium Support. You don’t need the activation code, you would only get this if you were buying the software outright. Instead you should continue using the free/demo version of Polyboard. In conjunction with the Quick Design libraries, this includes 100% of design features.

What this version doesn’t do is output your cut list, plans and CNC files. That’s where the CabinetFile service comes in, free to you as a Premium Support subscriber. This service gives you the output you need.

Please complete your design with the free version, then request the manufacturing documents.

Of course, also ask any questions you have along the way. To edit individual cabinets from within Project Mode, double click on the one you want to edit. It will then open up in Cabinet Mode.

The videos that show this are on this Getting Started Polyboard videos page, in particular the one called ‘Quick Design Cabinets Toolbar’. Thanks

I have recently downloaded Polyboard and subscribed to Premium support. I have been working in demo mode. I have emailed my user code to the support team but yet to receive an activation code. I have completed a project in project mode but cant edit the cabinets as the tool bar is grey. Will me getting the activation code solve this. Also how long does it usually take to get the activation code. Thank you
