Adding Edge-Banding to Specific Edges|Forum|WOOD DESIGNER

Hi Michel,
Brilliant. I’ve managed to add the specific edgebanding for the edges required thank you. But as far as the system highlighting the newly edged end panels and counter in render view – It is not showing. Perhaps there is a slight oversight on my end. We can discuss this in our meeting tomorrow.
Cheers,
Tom

Hi tom,
When you add the end panel and the edgeband, it will show the band in red if you have taken the one showing the red, of course.

Michel

Hi Michel,
Ahhh…I was looking for another single panel menu. I vaguely remember you mentioning something about end panels being single panels, I was looking under single panel fittings though.
Is there a way for the render to show red for the end panels and countertop once I added the edge banding? Or do I have to check this method every time via the reports…?
Cheers,
Tom

Hi Tom,
The end panels, countertops and fillers in a project are single panels and not controlled by the edging submethod. While adding the panels, you have the edging parameter in the window that allows you to add edging. Just select the side you need edging on and set the parameter.

Michel

Hi everyone,
I need assistance with adding edge banding to specific edges on End Panels & Countertops. I only want the visible edges to have edge banding, excluding the wall-facing and floor-facing edges, as well as the top of the end panels touching the underside of the counter.
As you can see in the attached image, the visible edges of the end panels and countertop are not red – Are there other ways PolyBoard lets you know edging has been added?
Please let me know if you need any further clarification.
Thank you! Tom
