Hi,

I am not sure what the plans are at the moment. We will make an update announcement when it happens.

Regards

Is it something that is going to be adding to future versions?

Hi,

Currently the only way to apply rules to a surface split is in “fitting links list”.

It will be something like this – I have removed all fittings apart from the ones I am talking about.

I have a double back that I have called “CrossBar” as a type. When ever a “CrossBar” is put in I am going to apply a structure based from the Materials sub-method that apples a surface split and has alternate materials as nil panels.

I then want to have screws only on the remaining panels. I can do this in the fittings link but have not found how to do it in the fittings sub-method.

Hi,

It depends on the situation you are using it on. Do you have a cabinet file I can look at for you?

Regards,

Isaac

Is it possible to get fittings to “Apply the Rule to the Surface Split” based on the Fittings Link Sub-Method? I cant see the check box anywhere but have a project that would be really useful if it was possible rather than editing it for each time I bring it in.
