Hello Bence,

To address your first question: the gap has been intentionally designed in the hardware for TandemBox drawers. Please see the attached Blum technical sheet for reference. As instructed, we subtract 24mm from the drawer length to determine the drawer bottom size. Since we are using 16mm material with an overpassing drawer back, only an additional 8mm needs to be removed from the panel, which we chose to take from the front.

Please note that this adjustment only appears in the PolyBoard visual. We believe this approach is consistent with the technical requirements.

Regarding your second question: there was no need to add TandemBox to the hardware packs, as they are already included in the Quick Design libraries and share similar drilling patterns with the Movento system. Adjustments can be made as required.

For further details on modifying these fittings, please see the following link:

Dear Team,

I have a couple of questions regarding the TANDEMBOX drawer construction available in the Quick Design libraries.

After adding a TANDEMBOX drawer to a cabinet, I noticed a gap between the counter frontage and the drawer sides in the wireframe perspective. Could you please confirm if this is expected behavior, or if I may have misconfigured something?

My second question is about the difference between the default free Quick Design libraries and the “Full range of cabinet hardware” mentioned for premium support subscribers.

  • How can I access the full range of cabinet hardware? Is it available under the “Hardware Packs” option?

  • I downloaded the Blum pack from here to check the TANDEMBOX drawer option, but it does not seem to include it. Could you clarify whether the TANDEMBOX system is part of the full range, or if I may have downloaded the wrong thing?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Kind regards,
Ben
