Yeah I used to use surface split for this but as u say, it’s a bit of calculating each time.

Hi Dean,
You can use either a ‘free division‘ or a ‘double back‘. Both methods would work in this situation.
As it is a central panel of an assembly, edging this is currently a limitation of this application. If you need this edged in PolyBoard, you could create this type of panel through a ‘surface split‘. The problem with using a surface split is that it would resize as you adjust the width of your cabinet.

Only just got round to putting this into play 
Works wonders, although at a loss as to why you chose to do this in double-backs and not free divisions.
Also, can’t find a way of edging each side of this. There is nothing present in edge tooling,

Hi folks,
Have tried for ages to create a panel structure to create a set size centre post in the middle front of my cabinet. Added it as a Free Division but want it to change when panel structure created, to a 60mm wide centre post(18mm deep). Please see below.
