Hi Peter,
Polyboard will output DXF that are readable by most CAD programs including TurboCad.
The CAD program you use with Polyboard will depend on what you want to do.
I don't know Turbocad but my opinion is :
For dimensioning plans and parts or editing DXF files for CNC a CAD program that's good at 2D like AutoCad LT, ProgeCad, Draftsight, Turbocad, DesignCad, Solid Works, etc are great.
On the other hand if you want to work in 3D for presentation purposes a program like SketchUp is easier to use.
Some programs like Solid Works say they work well in 2D and 3D, but having never really used them I can't give an opinion.
Others like AutoCad, ProgeCad say that they work in 2D and 3D but 3D modeling is so arduous that I would really prefer SketchUp every time.
What are you thinking of doing with Polyboard and CAD?
All the best,
Ness

Hi Ness
Cad design programs that work with Polyboard ( other than Autocad )
I have used Turbocad ( haven't upgraded My version 18 since I purchased Polyboard ) for many years, and wondering if Sketchup was a better fit or is there another comparable program that you know of.
Cheers
Peter
