Hi Terry,

Have you tried simply deleting the library files (or moving them) so that Polyboard is pointing to an empty folder?

It’s possible to uninstall and reinstall, just make sure you use the Polyboard 5 uninstall program which writes an uninstall code.

Once uninstalled download and install another demo version.

Then send us the uninstall and and new user code.

We’ll send you back a new activation for the demo version.

All the best,

Ness

PS: If you are having trouble I can try to help you sort it out with a Team Viewer session

Is it possible just to Un-install and re-install the software?

Would be grateful for a reply. Have got a very important project on the go that I cant access or work on.

Hello Ness

I cant open the actual files such as panel.mat-boole……they seem to be proprietary files. Ive tried moving the whole library out of the folder and different configurations of moves etc………but Im still getting exactly the same error message. Ive re-booted etc still no luck. Fortunately i had saved the project so not all is lost. Where should I go from here?

Hi Terry,

The error comes form a corrupt curves.pb-lib file.

To restart Polyboard, look for the curves.pb-lib file that polyboard is pointing and move it or delete it.

When you restart Polyboard it should regenerate the file and start normally .

If you have any items in the file you will loose them, so if you want to keep the items save the original and send it to us to see why it is corrupted.

all the best,

Ness

Hi Ness

Just to add…….I didn’t try an Un-Install and clean Install………I wasn’t sure if this would be a good idea as Im not sure if Ive got a record of the activation code…..Obviously its inside Polyboard but cant open the software to access it.

Hi Ness and StefanNess-poly.pngImage Enlarger

I hope you are both well. Sorry to be a pain. After updating polyboard to the latest version and downloading the new libraries I cant open

Polyboard and get the error message attached. I keep the libraries folder in Dropbox and Ive got a feeling that Ive pointed the software in the wrong direction when telling it where to look for the folder. Now its confused and wont open at all.

Ive tried a re-install but still get the same message.

Can you please help as its pretty urgent as I was right in the middle of designing a large project……Ive spent a bit of time trying to sort it but still getting the error message.

Best Terry
