OfflineTom,
Yes, you could either:
– Add another nil shelf to create the shape, or;
– Use thick material and move the free division so that the edge overhangs the wall below, making a shelf effect.
Whatever works best for you could create this here.
Best regards, Isaac

OfflineHi Isaac,
Brilliant thank you for your help here. No I loved it mate, thanks for detailing your process – I found this very helpful/insightful. I would never have created a room using the free shape tool, I usually just edit a standard cabinet for odd room shapes. The angled Free division isn’t something I’ve considered either good shout there. I’ve always tried to create angled ceilings using multi-sloped top in the depth of a standard cabinet, remove the bottom panel and using 0.1mm thick zz wall/floor material.
The only question I have is with regards to the ‘shelf’ at the top of the alcove, its slightly flat…how would you accurately reflect that part in the alcove? Would you just create another nil shelf or something?
Kind Regards,
Tom

OfflineHi Isaac,
Got a fun little room to re-create here. As best you can, I’d appreciate your help in re-creating this room, but better…we intend to do a better technical survey later but for now I’d like to see how you would make this space.
I couldn’t upload supporting documents here, so I’ve emailed them to you.
