OfflineHi Alex,
Attached is a copy of my model. it was i believe originally done in free shape and as a square cabinet and then I reduced the width of the cabinet as required to fit the space. Above the unit is a surface that also has to match the curve which I did as a countertop with an offset. Plan was to create the components, offset the curved face in Maestro to allow for the edging as allowing PP affected other components. Really need help as we found this during production so really need to find a simple and repeatable solution to use going forward.
Cheers

OfflineHi Patrick,
This not PP option, this depending how you built your cabinet,
– If you have used Free Shape mode, the curves are converted into segments and you can’t define the number of segments.
And, if you import DXF goal is to convert curve in segment from CAD to manage smoothing prior import
– If you start with a straight shape and then add curves at an angle, you can manage the smoothing, but you have fewer options.
And, in this case IF you don’t have edge applied you get true arc on export (for some PP only including SCM PP
)
If you need more help please send draft of your cabinet to see best option
Hope that’s helpful

OfflineHello Patrick,
Can you please send me a copy of your Post Processor that you are using?
You can export your Post Processor under File>Post Processor Options
Thanks,

OfflineHi Gents
I have a corner cabinet which is not proportional, No problem in creating the cabinet, but when I output and cut on the CNC is it cutting in obvious tangent sections which look terrible. Is there a simple way to smooth the curve so the output to Maestro gives a curve rather than segments? As this is multi layered with slightly different overlaps its a lot of work to try and do manually and matching the shape on proportion though autocad is a nightmare.
Thanks
