Hi Nigel,

Best to do a quick TeamViewer session to sort out your config.

When would you like to meet up?

Cheers,

Ness

Hi Nigel,

To print the inside sizes of a cabinet;

In cabinet edit mode,

– make sure that View>Dimensions is on,

– click in the volume to show the inner dims,

– click right and in the context menu select “Permanent Dimensions”

The inner sizes will be displayed permanently, even when you  print the drawing.

It’s easy to set up a fitting link for but hinges just use a groove in the hardware setup.

and apply as normal.

Hi Ness

When you build a cabinet and you put shelves in it, how do you get a print out with the measurements to show where to place them?

Thanks

Hi Nigel,

The way to do this is to split the inner panel into 2 panels before applying the door structure.

Once the double back is framed select the inner panel and use the “Surface split” command to make 2 panels.

Then apply a framed structure to each panel:

If you add a negative slack to the surface split it will give you the overlap necessary for the rebate:

Oh and the doors will need have 10mm overlap so they can have a rebate down the center so no gap when shut.
