Thanks Ness and Mark. Yes Mark If can show me how you  do that I can compare it to the PDF creator way. I think the excel way may be a better long term solution as (hopefully) you can add boards etc for divider jigs etc.

Thanks for the help

Hi Terry

We export out as a text file to excel then into our cutlists optimiser program.

It is all pretty automatic and of course it saves any mistakes.

If you want some help exporting I can help.

Hi Terry,

The best way to export the cutting lists in PDF is simply to install a PDF printer like PDF Creator and then print the workshop document using the PDF Creator.

All the best, Ness

Hi

Has anyone got a quick method of exporting the cutting list to a simple format such as PDF for emailing to a supplier/cutting service.

I could be missing something and Ive watched the video to export to excel etc but thats seems like alot of work for such a simple task.

Had a delivery today from a cutting list that Id manually typed out and I had made a mistake in typing the email so got a couple of parts delivered that were incorrect. Very annoying.

What method do others use.

Terry
