Hello Gary,
To make a dodo joint, you have to use the “groove” option in the “links” section.

to make the back dodo into it’s surrounds :
Select the back, easier sometimes if you explode the cabinet, in it’s properties open the “links” to top, bottom, sides, and make use the “groove” options. Note you have to set a groove depth to see the dodo.
If the back is flush to the surrounding panels the dodo will be a rabbet.
To set the back back from the surround, click the surrounding panel, for instance the top, and in it’s propertises select it’s link to the back.
Make sure it’s “overpassing” and give it and “overlap” value.
You can also use a the manufacturing sub-method “box full” to set this up as a style .
