Hi Mike,

I'm glad you have been able to sort this out.

The PP options draw the dxf files with or without edging according to whether you edge band before or after machining.

The cutting lists options adjust the sizes in the cut lists.

All the best,

Ness

Hi I just found the option in Post Processing, its not an edging option, simply change the Dimension setting to Net Dimensions and it does the trick.

Hi, I'm also having problems with edge banding. I add 1mm to the panel and then when I go into the dxf file using autocad, the panel has not reduced the edge banding. Surely the software can account for this?

Ive checked all the options and post processing options but cant see anywhere to change this.

What am I doing wrong?

Ive found it Ness

you have to set the dimensions to the following

I thought my doors were a little bit close on the last job. Not enough to cause trouble, thank God for those adjustable Blum Hinges!

Heres the image in case you get asked it again

Hi Ness

Thats great but strange as it doesn't do it in mine.....here is a cultist for a 1000x600x500 cab.

Ive saved the cab. The second cultist (pic shown) although it displays the edging details.....it doesn't reduce the dimension od boards!

Am I doing something wrong?

Hi terry,

Polyboard will always account for edging in the cutting lists.

Here's a 1mx1m box with 2mm edging on the front:

In the cut list you can see that the width has been diminished by 2mm:

Hope this is helpful,

Ness

HI Ness

Is there a way to make the software factor the thickness of edge banding?

I.e if i had a door at 550mm and wanted that to be my overall width once I've edgbanded it will come out at 550.6 or 552 etc

Thanks

Terry
