Hi Robert,

I wish you a great 2017 too, with lots of success in your business.

The Quick Design  face frame features are a special organisation of the the Polyboard structures and Boxful libraries. So they have to be set up specifically for each face frame configuration.

The face frames don't have tenons and are just but jointed. The door and drawer facades use tenons.

To use dominos on the facade elements you just have to edit the structure and set tenon depth to "0". However the joints will be just but jointed like the face frames. You can't actually add dominos but this shouldn't matter as dominos don't require marking out on the parts.

To do this, select the facade part and click  the "Assembly-edit "button and in the Assembly" dialogue box set the "tenon depth" to "0":

To set the face frames to be flush to the inside of the box you have to change the panel structures as well as the boxful style that go with them.

The easiest way to do this is to start from the Quick Design  library and tweak the structures and submethod to your requirements.

It's not easy to explain all the adjustments in forum post and would require a video. I'm thinking of adding an example these structures to the next version of the Quick Design  libraries and I'll add a more detailed video then.

If you would like us to do this for you using your specifications, please consider buying our Library setup pack from the 1-2-1 Support page here:

https://wooddesigner.org/train.....g-service/

In the meantime I attach an example file that you can use to see how it all works.

All the best,

Ness

Happy new year to all

in polyboard quick design how do i change framed doors from tenon to dominos as we make all our doors with this system.  carcase with cam and dowels, also with the new face frame system is it possible to move frame flush with inside of carcase as we use this way so we can scribe to walls ect.
