OfflineThis is correct for a top panel,
Except the left edge=back, right edge=front.

OfflineHello Zaheer,
By back, I was referring to the back of the panel, as you see in the attached plan. My apologies, it is actually Left..
You are correct,
Isaac

OfflineHello again. in the ERP export, the options are ‘top, bottom, left, right,’ not ‘back, front, left, right.’ so if I export this cabinet, it will give me the edges as follows:
-top edge: edge-010 mm
bottom edge: ar-white 1mm
right edge: kff
left edge: edge020.
How did you get your results?

OfflineHello Zaheer,
To explain this, I took the top panel of your cabinet and I selected a different edge type for each edge. See the following image:
After an ERP export, you will see the format is Back, Front, Left, Right. See the following image, a screen shot from the ERP export:
This is how the ERP export is exporting your edge information.
Best regards,
Isaac

OfflineHello, I understood your explanation very well, thank you. But I have one more question about how Polyboard works. I attached a cabinet photo where I selected the top panel and added an edge (1 mm thick) to the left side. But in the print preview (second photo), it shows the edge on the top, and the ERP exports it as a top edge. How does Polyboard decide that? What’s the logic or algorithm behind it?![]()

OfflineHi,
As you probably already know, each operation is classified by type,
Inner tooling, Profiling, Vertical drilling, ….
For PP, you need to define the tool/layer according to the type of PP, and for Polyboard, you need to define the tool/layer according to the configuration of each section as general setup
Or you can define the peneaut tool according to the default type, Or you need for same type to use 2 different tool/layer setup and here you need to use Tool ID to replace general setup
e.g. Peneaut fitting use grove in milling/( dxf ) mode line, but for cabinet you need to use saw blade…
Cheers, Alex
