Martin,

Yes it would if not set up properly. Follow these steps:

1. Make a new Post Processor in PolyBoard. Do not use the same post processor as the Eko machine for the Rover.

2. Make a new fitting in PolyBoard. Have a fitting solely for the Eko and one for the Rover

3. Select the correct machine is Biesse.

If you want this tooling to change automatically in the PP, you would need to make these changes. Your other options would be obtaining a new tool for the Rover, or manually changing the tool as you said.

Regards,

Isaac

Good morning Martin,

When using a drilling fitting, the default tool is a drilling tool, so the machine will automatically select a drill.

If you need to use a different tool, such as a milling tool, you’ll need to create a custom tool. This also allows you to assign a specific name to the tool.

I recommend trailing this and running simulations in Biesse Suite before manufacturing.

Note: A milling tool has different properties to a drilling tool. Make sure that you set these up as required.

Best regards,
Isaac

Hello,

This is also for the ROVER A 5 axis post prosessor set up.

When drilling the 8mm dowel holes in side of panel it choose to use a 8mm drill with same drilling method as in the eko2,1 machine.

in our rover a we dont have 8mm drill set up for horizonantal drilling. only 4mm on sides/front/back.

therefor i want to use the 8mm in the spindel instead. (we  always have the 8mm availble in the magasine)

is that possible or will it be tricky and we need to customize the fitting for the dowels?

if so maybe it is better just manually change the tooling in the rover a for theese cabinets.
