I am exporting a polyboard design into AutoCad. This all works fine. However, I have made changes in the polyboard file and I then create a new 3D DXF file. The new file looks good and has all the changes I made. I then take the cabinets that were changes from the new file and copy them into the old AutoCad file. The cabinets appear and are pasted in but they no longer have the changes - they are the same as before.

An example of what I am doing as is as follows:

1. 1. 3D DXF export into polyboard

1. 1. Edit and create additional cabinets and mouldings in autocad

1. 1. Realise a change is required in some cabinets created in polyboard

1. 1. Make the changes in polyboard

1. 1. Export into a new file

1. 1. Copy the required cabinets from new autocad file in to the orignal

1. 1. Whilst the cabinets I copied had the changes i made, once pasted in the original autocad the changes disappear

1. 1. Try coping the required cabinets into a fresh autocad file and all works fine

If I try this with a new file it works fine. I am struggling to find out what is going on? Its as though the AutoCad file generated by polyboard will not allow any updates from a new export. This is really frustrating, any ideas?

I have not had issues with def exports but all other ones seem to have some write/ownership issues so I also do either delete the old file, save to new location or save as new name. I assume you have done this?
