Alex,

Noted. On this occasion I’ve pasted the CNC operators notes as I myself did not run into the problem, nor do I use Optinest. But I shall do my best to condense things in future as suggested.

Cheers,

Tom

We do our utmost to respond quickly,

When the question is clearly set out, it allows me to answer just as quickly,

A screenshot and a sketch are often much simpler than a long explanation.

The version problem sends an error message of the type “Unexpected format file”

with different versions and the most recent would have received a major patch in the libraries

Thank you for that too

Best regards, Alex

Hi,

The software is not at fault here,

the number of characters is too long, the Windows access path cannot exceed 256 characters.

In view of your screenshot, without having to count, the line break is 55 characters on 5 lines, so we must be just at the limit,

Save projects with a shorter name and it should work, like “News_bedroom”.

Cheers, Alex

Hello,

I Have sent this file to a CNC company to have it cut out but when exporting to optinest, the CNC operator gets this error (See attached image)New_Bedroom-1-Older-without-frame-or-room-cabinet.pb-projPolyboard-Error.pngImage Enlarger

. The DXFs are produced but it does not open optinest and organise them by material automatically as it does normally. The CNC company are on the latest Version of polyboard (version 7.10) and Optinest (version 2.32g). any help would be appreciated.

I’m unsure if there is a difference, but I currently build using Polyboard version: 7.10a not version 7.10. This could be the reason for the error any help would be great!

Many Thanks,

Tom
