Hello Ramin,

I’m sorry, but I don’t believe this file helps identify the issue.

For example, the hinge is using a macro file. While we could use a macro file from PolyBoard, I don’t think that’s necessary, as it would add unnecessary complexity to the export. My recommendation is to configure only your machine specifications and tool ID’s for the export. Once your machine specifications are set up correctly, the exported files should run as expected.

I compared the MPR files by opening them in Notepad, and both the PolyBoard-generated and WoodWOP-generated files appear to be structured the same. Based on that comparison, the only remaining likely cause would be an incorrect tool ID, which would not run on the machine until corrected.

Another option would be to provide WoodWOP Support with your PolyBoard generated mpr. files to see if they can identify any additional issues.

Based on the information I currently have, the only recommendation I can make is to verify that your tool IDs are configured correctly. From my side, the exported files appear to be set up correctly and closely match the files generated directly from WoodWOP.

Kind regards, Isaac

Hello,

I finally had my appointment with HOMAG and got the export data here for you so that u can check why the doors and front never work.

I also got a MPR instead of MPRX file, that has just a hinge and a routed sink .

Let me know if u need more MPR files with specific data.

A reminder since i know u have alot of work – On full projects, the sides, tops , bottoms work on the CNC, the doors and fronts dont ( except one cabinet that worked and we cant understand why that did and all others didnt).

Thank you!

Hi Ramin,

The only operation that does not require a default tool is drilling. All milling, sawing, and pocketing operations require a default tool to be assigned. As mentioned previously, these can then be overridden with custom tools if needed.

Regarding the files, the Cabinet5 file appears to be consistent with the other cabinets. Based on the information I have, I can only conclude that the inconsistency is likely within the WoodWOP setup rather than the MPR file itself.

If you can create and send me an MPR file generated from WoodWOP, I’d be happy to investigate further. I requested this previously, but I only received an MPRX file rather than an MPR file.

Please save the file manually in WoodWOP as MPR (not MPRX) and send it to me. I can then compare it directly with the PolyBoard-generated MPR file to identify any differences.

Alternatively, you may wish to contact WoodWOP support and ask them to help determine where the inconsistency between PolyBoard and WoodWOP is occurring.

Kind regards, Isaac

I did assign them for each fitting hole individually, doesnt that count ? A general tool for one operation is rarely the case when i have just for a hinge 3 different tools. So in my fittings i added the 5mm code that the homag reads, the 35 code that the homag reads and the 8mm.

Which of these do i put here for drilling then ?

Besides BEVEL and CUT OFF is nothing i tried using so far, but i will assign those too.

I still dont understand if this step was a problem why does that one cabinet ” file 5 ” work perfectly even without these settings.

The Post Processor options available in Polyboard seem pretty straight forward, i dont feel that i need a 1on1 training on that unless in the training i learn how to go way deeper than these few limited options we have within polyboard. The problem i have is that out of a full kitchen with plenty of cabinets designed one by one in the same way, 11 of them dont work on the CNC when it comes for their doors and drawer fronts, one of them does.

The exported files are done through the project mode , so the settings apply to all of them if i understand correctly.

This is the file 5 i keep talking about that has not been downleaded yet from wetransfer. This is the one cabinet out of the whole kitchen that always works.

Can u please check it and make sense to me why this does and the others dont, then i can do what i did right to this to all the others and the problem is solved.

Thank you!

Hello Ramin,

You still have not assigned default tools to each of your tooling operations. Please do this before we continue testing, as this may be the problem we are experiencing. Please identify them in the exact same format as referenced by your WoodWOP software.

This needs to be completed, and please test your files after this. This is a very important step.

Additionally, I wanted to make you aware of our SetUp training sessions. You can purchase 1on1 training time with a technical member to work together on this set up. I would recommend considering this.

Hello,

In the wetransfer link i exported my current settings and a photo of the HOMAG interface where it doesnt look like the picture u shown me, i cant see where to click to export its settings.

I will try to call them again, for now i couldnt reach them, but while keep trying to get those settings can u check the FILE 5 from previous posts since that is prefectly working no metter the settings i change, it just keeps working all the time ?

Like that you have one cabinet that perfectly works all the time, and lots of examples of the others that dont work.

Can u get some useful info from there maybe ? In the meantime ill try to reach HOMAG and see how to get you the settings export but if that takes days, those are days of not using the optimisation we payed for in Polyboard..

Ramin,

Can you please also export your WW settings so that I can fully understand your operations within this software.

Hello Ramin,

Can you please send me an updated copy of your PostProcessor with the new changes?

I will again compare with your current export settings.

Regards, Isaac

I think i fixed the mirroring problem with this.

The problem of doors and fronts not working on any other cabinet from a full kitchen project, but one single exception ” the file 5 from below ” where it always works, even after i tested the Optimization mode 0 , 1 , 2 , 3 , 4. On all of them just that one cabinet works. So i tried seeing what difference there is between that and the others.

The only difference i see, in the HOMAG interface, is where the plate has a contour made around, it always has a starting point, on ALL the other doors and fronts the starting point is not Top – Left, but on the 3 other corners. On the only 2 doors that worked, from cabinet ” file 5 ” , the starting point happens to be top-right.

In this wetransfer link u see the HOMAG photo explaining that starting point i talk about : [Permission to view this media is denied]

Again, in all the different settings and scenarios i tried, from 12 different cabinets, only one worked always, no matter the settings.

Maybe that detail helps, i dont know. Maybe you can download from the wetransfer of “post 14” the file 5 and study what is it about it and why that one works and the others dont , because when i try to study i cant find any difference in polyboard, just the starting point in Homag.

Thank you!

Hello,

I have changed the 2 options and still it doesnt work, its just the same, including the mirrored part.

Keep in mind that the FILE 5 ( you have it in the separate We transfer link in the messages below ) Its a cabinet with 2x doors on top of each other, also the only ones that the CNC did recognise and worked, with the only problem being that the bottom door was mirrored while the top one not.

So please let me know what we could do now to have them all working as file 5 did and fix the mirroring problem.
