Hi Dean,

There is no way to swap these, the oversizing is the Panel layer.

The 0 layer, this is nothing, a non-existent layer. This can be ignored or deleted.

Isaac

Is it possible to merge the oversizing with the outline layer, NOT the panel layer? Also, what is the 0 layer?

Regards

Dean

Hi Dean,

Correct, you will see both layers exported. This is important if you are also exporting other components that do not have oversizing.

See the attached image, I recommend manually selecting and deleting the layer which you don’t need.

Thanks Isaac,

I tried both options, and the oversizing did export. however…

Option 1 – Merges the Outline with the Panel layer on the DXF. This means I cant unselect the full panel outline from the outline on vCarve.

Option 2 – Merges the Oversizing with the Panel layer on the DXF. This means that I cannot unselect the full panel without removing the oversizing on vCarve.

I’m presuming there is no way of not exporting the ORIGINAL size outline before the oversize?

Regards

Dean

Hi Dean,

There are a few possible reasons, firstly confirm that you have your DXF PP set to “Overall Dimensions”. See the following image:

Let me know how this goes.

Hi folks,

I can currently export oversizing from Polyboard to Opticut, but they will not export to Optinest… Is there a setting for this?

Regards

Dean
