Hi,

See the following video:

I recommend you run some tests and see if this solves your problem.

If it doesn’t solve your problem I will look into some more options that it could be.

Regards,

Isaac

Good morning,

Would you be happy to upload the file for that cabinet? I will have a look at it and try to find a solution for you.

Regards,

Isaac

We have a corner TV unit draw using a free shape.

We export the DXF files from Polyboard into Alphacam and use the Automation Manager to process all of the files in a batch at once. This is often about 500 components so we do not look at each of the files individually as the Automation Manager does the CAM work and the nesting.

When we cut this unit one of the back panels is cut from the wrong side. All of the information exported is correct, as in the plane to cut down to for the grooves is in the right place. It should be a 5mm groove but it instead leaves 5mm of material and cuts a 13mm groove in 18mm material. The part is

Is it possible to force which side a component is cut from? Polyboard seems to be very good at “knowing” which side to cut from on a square unit but I have tried multiple iterations with this angled unit and getting the same issue.

If not is there another solution we should be thinking about?
