OfflineHi John,
See the following example for nesting the 3 doors together on a sheet with a vertical grain.
In OptiNest, open your optimization parameters and turn on parts grouping. While there is no specific PolyBoard feature that will grain match these separate doors, parts grouping will place similar components together. See the following image:
As you see in the next image, this should place like parts together on your optimization.
Regards,
Isaac

OfflineGood evening following on from this, I am currently working on a job where were making the frontal from a grained material, how can I keep the grain continuity throughout these frontals? the Drawer fronts are all good and all the end panels its fine. the 3 frontals on the back id like to match, but unsure how to do it across multiple units.

OfflineLooking to run out these units in the next few days, inside the units there are build in drawers. however when I go to nest them in Opti-Nest the drawer frontals don’t line up with each other. I would like all the frontals to have the grain to match on the when you open the door. I have tried ‘Grouping all identical items’ and that doesn’t seem to work.
Any help would be great,
John Walbridge
