Hi,
Yes, orientation explain in few words
Conventional
The Height of part are along Y of CN (DXF)
The Width of part are along X of CN (DXF)
Top of left side to the top
Top of right side to the top
Part rotation
The Height of part are along X of CN (DXF)
The Width of part are along Y of CN (DXF)
Top of left side to the left
Top of right side to the right
Grain direction horizontal
Similaire orientation than Part rotation with conventional grain direction
Most of time select this option if your in Nesting CNC and greatest axis is X
Grain direction vertical
Similaire orientation than conventional with conventional grain direction
Top of left side to the Top
Top of right side to the Bottom
*Most of time select this option if your in Nesting CNC and greatest axis is Y
Horizontal max dimension
Highest dimension Height/width on X (usually for CN with suction cup)
—————
Last option “Invert part” rotates the parts by 180°.
For example, with “Part rotation”, the front edge of the part would be towards the front of the machine but with this option the edges will be opposite
Please find basic test cabinets for understand export more easily
First for part rotation with arrow
Second with edges (with specifique edges)
Hope that’s helpful, Alex
