Hi,

For the moment, PolyBoard will not move the “zero point” and it needs to be completed as shown. If you need assistance with this just let me know. I am happy to run you through adjusting these fittings as you need them.

Consider adding additional supports across the width of the cabinet (more legs, possibly a kick frame). If these are taking more of the cabinets weight it will reduce the problem caused on the sides of the cabinet. It should more evenly distribute the weight of the cabinet.

Regards,

Isaac

Hi Isaac

Thanks for your video – your suggestion is basically what I “feared”. I had hoped for a more dynamic solution where polyboard would understand that the groove would move the zero point of the coordinates that the fitting is using.

Hi,

See the attached video. I have shown you how to move the Cabineo wit the groove.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Regards,

Isaac

I have tried to solve an issue with structural strength on end cabinets where plinths are recessed and vert divs are overpassing. Since the legs are recessed so they don’t support the vert div, the weight of the whole cabinet bends the bottom of the cabinet upwards.

My idea was to grove the bottom into the vert div, and I had hoped the cabineos would follow, but as you can see on the pictures, they don’t.

Any ideas on how to make them follow? Also if you have a better way to solve what I’m trying to solve, that doesn’t require edge machining, I’m all ears.

Ps. Are you kidding me with these file size limits on uploads?! 😅
